Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, cooking, eating and toileting.
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients through safe manual handling equipment and procedures.
Perform light housework including dusting, sweeping and laundry.
Assist clients with their medication at the agreed level of support and accompany to medical appointments.
Observe, monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly report any changes to a licensed health professional.
Encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities including accompanying clients on social trips.
To take responsibility for the safe handling of property and equipment belonging to the Clientfriends.
To help the Client to maintain contact with their family.
